Rossvale Girls Team

2010 will see the launch of the girls set up within Rossvale , the Under 13s team will kick this off playing in the SWFA league.The group have been playing together for a couple of years now and have made great progress.The team shall make a big step up this year from under 11s to 13s ,the young group shall get 2 years at this level, this first year shall be a tough one , but hopefully develop the girls that bit more for the following season.

The squad is made up of 12 girls , mostly local girls from Bishopbriggs /Kirkie with the others from Glasgow.Games shall be 7 aside played on a Saturday morning @ Huntershill .

Just a little note about Saturdays 3-2 win over Stenhousemuir . Well done girls for a really big effort to defeat a team(who thought the 3 points were theirs before kicking a ball) that was a lot older and stronger.A great performance by all ,with goals from Nicole , Collete and Rachel to put us 3-0 up and a great defensive display to hold on for the Win.
